| This training comprises 3 modules, including theory, practice and homework, in a total of 200 hours.
Módulo 1 - in this module, the student will learn the complete course of Ayurvedic Yoga Massage, the basics of anatomy, Ayurvedic body types, how to use the doshas constitution questionnaire, the basics of Ayurvedic diet according to the body type and will also learn to create a whole series of sessions for a specific client.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to give complete massage sessions, perform a body type diagnose and will know how to use the proper oil massage for each client. The course duration is one week with 50hours. Grants certificate. Included illustrated manual and DVD.
An open session clinic, followed by practical feedback from the facilitator will be held on the last day of the course.
Módulo 2 - in this module we provide the complete Ayurvedic Massage Kerala style, a deeper understanding of the human body and additional knowledge skills for body evaluation. Students will also learn specific treatments with supplementary Panchakarma for body detox. This will include: shirodhara, kati basti, nabhi basti and netra basti, as well how to prepare medicated oils according to the clients Doshas and unbalance state. There will be a lot of hands-on practice.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to perform a complete massage session, prepare a protocol session according to clients needs as well as provide detox treatments. Students will also be able to take care of themselves in the most natural way. The course duration is one week with 50hours. Grants certificate. Included illustrated manual and DVD.
Módulo 3 - at this level the students will deepen their knowledge about Ayurvedic Medicine, how to diagnose the pulse, prepare home remedies, learn to perform Panchakarma detox treatments for disease stages and how to care for their health and that of others on a daily basis an improve their life quality.
The teacher of this course is an Ayurvedic doctor, Sandeep Shirvalkar, a professor at the Ayurvedic Medical University in Pune, India, and he will be with us for this special module to share his knowledge and vast clinical experience.
Course duration: 1 week. Grants certificate with 60hours of theory and practice and manual.
At the end of the 3 modules the student will receive a Diploma as Ayurvedic practitioner of 200hours, recognized by the International School of Ayurveda in Pune. If the students wish to deepen their clinical studies and practice, Dr S. Shirvalkar and Puja Kinzer offer special supervised clinical practice in India from Dezember 2008 onwards.
Each course can be taken separately but, in order to receive a diploma the 3 modules must be completed. |
